Gajah Tunggal in “Top 50 Best Companies” List of Forbes Indonesia

Jakarta, 25 July 2013 – PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk is among the companies which are categorized as the “Top 50 Best Companies” by Forbes Indonesia. The names of the companies are announced in the July 2013 edition of the magazine.

In the introductory article of the July 2013 edition, Forbes Indonesia Magazine says that in a time of global uncertainty, great companies demonstrate their strength by having a sustainable long-term performance. To be included in the list of “Top 50 Best Companies” the only criteria is to be the best of the best in their field.

The evaluation methodology used by Forbes Magazine is as follows: companies are rated based on a composite score where several metrics with various weightings are applied in a formula, which includes return on equity over the past five years, 3-years sales performance and EPS-growth of the past three years. The companies are subsequently assessed on Good Corporate Governance.
