Gelar Batik Nusantara 2013

Gelar Batik Nusantara is a national batik exhibition which is held every two years in Indonesia. This event is attended by batik lovers from various groups within society including artists, designers, students, professors, people from the batik and handicrafts industry, as well as the wider community of fans and users of batik. Gelar Batik Nusantara aims to develop and preserve Indonesia’s batik, thus it always may attract attention from the crafters, entrepreneurs and the wider community.

PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk participated in this event by displaying the Ban Batik Series, designed by Carmanita. The exhibition was held on 17 – 21 July 2013 at the Jakarta Convention Center and was opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
