Polytechnic GT

The Company is committed to developing sustainable inclusive businesses for the economic well-being of internal and external stakeholders by creating jobs and building career paths for them. It was with this purpose that the Company established GT Polytechnic and by doing this, the Company can sustainably maintain skilled workers as its capital.

GT Polytechnic (www.poltek-gt.ac.id) provides full scholarships to underprivileged students who have good academic grades. This polytechnic has D3 education levels in three departments, namely Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Industrial Engineering which have been accredited by the National Standardization Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT).

This year GT Polytechnic accepted 90 students selected from 1,616 applicants from 22 provinces throughout Indonesia. In 2021, GT Polytechnic conducted online lecture activities in accordance with government recommendations in order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Thousands of GT Polytechnic alumni are now spread across various manufacturing and service companies that are members of the GT group of companies.

Debriefing of GT Polytechnic Students

GT Polytechnic organizes debriefing activities for all prospective graduates before starting to work in the company. This debriefing serves as orientation and encouragement of students and a spirit to be more adaptable to the work culture in the workplace.

GT Polytechnic National Seminar

Gajah Tunggal Polytechnic held a Multidisciplinary National Seminar on August 25, 2021 with the theme Research-Based Appropriate Technology Development in the Face of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the New Normal Era. The main speakers at this seminar were Mr. Sugeng Rahardjo as President Director of PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, Mr. Prof. Indra Djati Sidi, M.Sc., Ph.D as Professor of Bandung Institute of Technology, and Mrs. Dr. Ita Mariza as Director of Gajah Tunggal Polytechnic.
This seminar was attended by 397 webinar participants and 63 speakers who presented the results of their research in the field of engineering. The results of the accepted paper have been published in the Abstract Book of the Multidisciplinary National Seminar ISBN 978-623-95928-0-6 by POLYTECHNIC GT.

Research and Publication by GT Polytechnic

In realizing the philosophy of The Tri Dharma of higher education, in addition to carrying out the Education process, GT Polytechnic also carries out research and community service activities. In 2021, the GT Polytechnic Lecturer team successfully passed 3 (three) research titles funded by the Ministry of Research and Technology / National Research and Innovation Agency. In addition, the Gajah GT Polytechnic Lecturer team has also presented the results of research conducted at national seminar forums and international conferences and published in various National Journals. In addition, GT Polytechnic has also published 4 (four) National Journals, namely JITI (Journal of Instrumentation and Information Technology) p-ISSN 2746-7635 and e-ISSN 2808-5027, JUSTIN (Journal of Industrial Technology Science) ISSN 2807-9124, JIM (Journal of Multidisciplinary Innovation) ISSN 2775-5525, and JITM (Journal of Mechanical Engineering) ISSN 2798-7191.
