Gajah Tunggal is Ranked 23rd in Indonesia’s Top 100 Most Valuable Brands 2015

Gajah Tunggal is ranked 23rd in Indonesia’s Top 100 Most Valuable Brands 2015 from SWA Magazine in collaboration with Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation and ratings firm. PT. Gajah Tunggal Tbk General Manager Marketing and Sales Retail, Mr. Arijanto Notorahardjo, received the Award during the award ceremony on Thursday, 22 October 2015 at Shangrila Hotel, Jakarta.

This is the second time PT. Gajah Tunggal Tbk received the Award and the Company has been able to maintain a Brand Rating of AA- with a Brand Value of US$ 186 million. This Awards proves the Company’s commitment to continue to build its brand, not only in the domestic market, but also globally as a proud Indonesian tire brand.

The methodology that Brand Finance used to calculate the Brand Value is the ‘Royalty Relief Approach’ which involves calculating a Brand Strength Index, Brand Royalty Rate and estimating future revenues that are attributable to a brand.
